I actually just heard this story while hanging out near the local store the oldies were telling stories and this really picked up my interest.
The one telling the story was in his 80s already so he had a lot to say and his family were one of the first to live here back then where this part of the city was considered just a backdrop and there were a lot of trees and not enough houses
It was just after world war two his parents worked with the government as a few of the doctors that stayed and helped to fix up the soldiers and civilians that were hurt so because of there contribution they were awarded lands just far lands that is according to his life was easy back then they were the only clinic for miles so they had it pretty good.
the day was fun but the night time those were something else
he recalls since it was all dark and only the stars and the moon would light the roads.
One night while their family was driving which was rare since there just a few cars back then so they had the road all to themselves he was looking at the outside of the car when he noticed a girl just a hint of light he thought he was just imagining it and as their speed was seems to be getting faster and his father said the brake seemed to be not working and his mom panicked and he also panicked he remember this because he thought this was the day they were going to die and while those where happing he noticed the girl again outside like it was following the car he wanted to tell his parent but they were to busy trying to stop the car the girl disappeared in the side and it appeared in front of us and we all so it the girl was pale and his dress was so ragged and his eyes were just pitch black and then we felt the car being pushed at the side and it was in complete stop then we heard water not far we all got outside if it wasnt for that pushed we would have fallen in the creek what ever it was it saved us too scared to think about it we all headed to the car again and it similing worked the breaks where fixed again.
The next morning while his father was checking the car he saw a dent and a handprint like something pushed it aside with force that it left a dent the weird thing is the dent was small like almost a child.
according to him till this day he still avoids the creak in it was already sealed tight there had been accidents thru the times and he swears that all that survived the incident say they saw a girl like she was warning what was up ahead.
nobody was really sure what was the girl they say it was a Japanese victim that her corpse was thrown into the creak some says she is a victim of the creek falling to it because of the lack of light
whatever it is it saved our lives that night and he is forever thankful for it.
