grandma house prt2 april26

Grandma prt2

t's almost 5 years since the last time I posted my story regarding my lola's house (lola = grandmother). As promise, I will provide an update. Please bear with my grammar as I admit I am not a pro of English language.
After my grandmother passed away, we started to experience scarier things. Good thing, I left the house and transfer to the ancestral house which is just in front of my grandmothers house (lol). I suggest that you read my first post way back 2013 to get a glimpse of the structure inside the house
Let me share few of the many stories
My cousin, let's call him Mark (not his real name) have this habbit of sleeping on the living area located on the second floor. According to him, he woke up around 3 am for no reason. Here's the thing, the living area in the second floor is facing a window straight to our grandmother's room. I know it's weird to have a window inside the house but its kind of a big house. The window is use by my lola to check who was going upstairs. He said that he notice a girl facing him, he was under the impression that it was my auntie who already owns the house (Family rules, the youngest child gets the house).
According to him, he already felt scared but due to the fact that it's just 3am in the morning and it's impossible for may auntie to be awake that time. Due to having a bad eyesight, he put his glasses on and to his suprise it was staring at him and it was definitely not my auntie. He jump out of the couch and run downstairs, he told us the story the next morning.
Another story is about my sister. She is the youngest and we are aware of her "gift".
One evening, two of my cousins together with my sister who was around 8 years old that time went to the girls' bedroom. According to my cousins, Jaja (not my sister's real name) said that she will go to the bathroom which is located on the same floor. She did not close the door as the hallway is too dark due to the lights off policy in the house. According to my cousins 30 minutes have passed but my sister has not come back. Cee went check the hallway and found that the lights in the bathroom are turn off. Both of the girls assume that may sister may have went out of the house to play. Sheila (she is the same cousin on my first post) told us that she wanted to use the bathroom as well but to her surprise she found my sister in the corner, crying and shaking in fear. According to her "she look so scared and pale. She was crying silently. I called her name and touch her but she shoved it away and said 'wag po. Hindi ako sasama' (please no, I'm not going with you)." Sheila grab my sister's hand told her everything's going to be ok. When my sister look at her, she started crying again. They brought her back to the room and ask her what happen.
My sister was washing her hands when she felt a presence at her back. As she turned around, she found a a headless man trying to reach towards her saying "halika, sumama ka" (come with me). She then walk backwards until she reach the corner. That's when she sit down and silently cry. She told us that she was asking my late grandmother to help her. That's when my cousins found her. We ask her why the lights were turn off and she said that she did not notice the lights were off.
Another story is from my auntie (who already own the house). She said that she went to the master's bedroom which happens to be my grandmother's bedroom. According to her, she was cleaning the room together with her youngest child Jay who was just 3 years old that time. She was busy with arranging some documents when Jay pulled her shirt and told her "mommy mumu" (mumu =ghost). My auntie told her son to stop playing around and just sit on the bed. A few minutes later Jay started pointing towards the bathroom located inside the master's bedroom. The door was ajar and the lights are turn off "mommy lola?" (Mommy, is that grandmother?) My auntie got scared and did not bother to look inside the bathroom but instead grab Jay's hand and they went downstairs.
All of this happen when my grandmother passed away.
I will be sharing another story which I will be asking for help. This is regarding the newly built house. But anyway, thanks for reading.

grandma house part 1april21

GRANDMA prt 1

So before I start the story, let me give you a background of my grandmother's death. It was the ending of September 2012 and it was like the last Thursday of September when my grandma felt a stomachache. She called my aunt and uncle, who works in a dental clinic, and asked them to drive her to the hospital to get a check up and they said they will drive her there after the lunch. Since their dental clinic is a street away from my grandma's house, they decided to eat at my grandma's house.
After lunch is where things got worse. My grandmother felt weaker, to the point that she couldn't stand up anymore and that's when they rushed her to the hospital.
We got the news, so the next day all 4 children of my grandma's went there including my dad and my dentist auntie, my other uncle and another auntie came all the way from Singapore when she found out about my Grandmother's death.
So it was Friday and my dad just got home from work so he went straight to the hospital after dinner and he said he will stay there for the night so that means I have to sleep alone in the bed since my dad is in the hospital.
It is like around midnight when my grandma passed away and all her kids gathered in the room (until today her death is not yet confirmed). The time the machine exactly flatlined while she died is also the time the power went off in the hospital room and they were all shook.
That night I was sleeping alone but I felt like somebody is hugging me and that hug feels very cold but relieving. Nobody slept with me but I feel like someone is rubbing me to make me feel relaxed. I didn't really think of it as unusual because I'm tired from doing homeworks and I just want to sleep. I did dreamt of my grandma that night but she only appeared for a few seconds in dream and we just talked a little bit when I was inside the bathroom. The weird thing is while we are talking, she is just staring at me smiling and she is just behind the bathroom door, well that is all I remember in my dream.
The next morning came, it is Saturday, and when I woke up my mom told me that my grandmother just passed away last night. It was, of course, a very sad moment. My mother told me that my little brother is talking and playing around like somebody is trying to play with him, but he is actually in a deep sleep, and my mom said that it's our grandma visiting us.
Also, our housekeeper woke up around 6:30 am. She saw my mom trying to wake up my sister by shaking up her feet so she tried to check up on me too to wake me up but she realized it was Saturday. She saw our mom actually still sleeping so she ran and came back to sleep since it was raining and its very cold. She told it to us and we were very spooked.
My mom decides that she will go in the setting up for the funeral. It was after lunch and my housekeeper was in the bedroom making my little brother go to sleep for his afternoon nap and my sister is in her bedroom using her laptop.
My mom left already and I was alone in the living room browsing through the net. I was scrolling through facebook while listening to music on Youtube. The next music video I played is 'Nicki Minaj-I Am Your Leader' and I was very addicted to that song that time so I know even its adlibs and beat. A few seconds in the song, while going through Facebook, there is also an old weird song that is like from the older decades. I removed my headphones because maybe it is from the neighbours or anything but it's only heard in the earphones playing along with the song on YouTube.
I tried going through Facebook and checked if I accidentally just clicked a video but I refreshed Facebook and the weird creepy old song is still playing along with the song on YouTube. I tried pausing the music video of the song I'm listening to and the old creepy music stopped too everytime I try to pause the video and it also plays along when I play the video. I was so scared that time that I threw my headphones, quickly shut down the computer and ran to my sister's bedroom and slept there since I feel like my grandma was around that time letting her presence be known.

The Story of Lucia Joaquin

Story of Lucia Joaquin

I woke up at around 3:00 am because I had to go pee. I got up immediately, ran to the restroom, and after that, I’d be able to go back to sleep. But, I was wrong. Whenever I try to close my eyes, I could no longer feel sleepy. I thought it would be easier for me to go back to sleep if I turned off the lights in my room, but I’m so used to sleeping with the lights on. So, that’s what I did. I got up and turned off the lights. Then, I went back to bed and I closed my eyes. Still, I no longer feel drowsy.
Then, I thought that I’d just hang out on Facebook for a bit, maybe for sure, I’d feel sleepy again. I reached out at one of my two cell phones sitting on the side table next to me, and I started logging on my Facebook. While I was reading the posts that my friends posted on their walls, I received a PM (private message). I checked the name on my (Facebook) Messenger. I thought, do I know this person? The name indicated was “Lucia Joaquin.”
LUCIA JOAQUIN: Hi.
ENZO CRUZ: Hello.
LUCIA JOAQUIN: Is it okay for us to talk?
ENZO CRUZ: Huh? About what?
LUCIA JOAQUIN: About anything. I don’t have anyone to talk to. I’m feeling lonely.
ENZO CRUZ: Is that so? It’s very rare that I get to find someone online at this hour. Most of my friends are still asleep.
LUCIA JOAQUIN: Why are you awake?
ENZO CRUZ: Actually, I just woke up. I’m trying to get back to sleep, so I just ended up on Facebook.
LUCIA JOAQUIN: Maybe the reason why you woke up because someone else woke you up?
ENZO CRUZ: Huh? What do you mean?
LUCIA JOAQUIN: Oh, nothing. By the way, you’re really handsome. When I saw you, I immediately ended up liking you.
ENZO CRUZ: Huh? Saw me where?
LUCIA JOAQUIN: Here on your photos. I’m looking at them right now.
When I read that Lucia was looking at my photos on Facebook, I went directly to my timeline to see which photos she was looking at. And then, I went to her profile to look at her photos, however, something else got me curious.
ENZO CRUZ: How come your timeline is empty?
LUCIA JOAQUIN: I just recently created my Facebook.
ENZO CRUZ: And your profile pic. It’s really dark.
LUCIA JOAQUIN: It’s really dark in this room.
ENZO CRUZ: Don’t you have flash on your phone’s camera?
LUCIA JOAQUIN: There is.
ENZO CRUZ: Use it, so your photo would be brighter.
LUCIA JOAQUIN: Alright. By the way, I added you under Close Friends 2 here on Facebook, okay?
ENZO CRUZ: Sure. Alright.
LUCIA JOAQUIN: And because we’re Close Friends, we should have a photo together.
ENZO CRUZ: Alright, sure. When we see each other, we’ll have a photo together.
As we continued on chatting on the messenger when from out of the blue, my other phone began to vibrate. I reached for it to see what it was. I got a shock when the phone just flashed right after I unlocked my phone. I began to wonder why it vibrated when no one called or sent me a text. I returned the phone back on the side table.
LUCIA JOAQUIN: Is it okay to know your age?
ENZO CRUZ: Based on how you see me, how old?
LUCIA JOAQUIN:Maybe around 18? Haha!
ENZO CRUZ: You’re teasing me!
LUCIA JOAQUIN: I’m not, that’s how I see you as in your pic!
ENZO CRUZ: Alright, fine, thank you. To be honest, I’m already 25.
LUCIA JOAQUIN: Wow! You really look young!
ENZO CRUZ: Thanks again. How about you, how old are you?
LUCIA JOAQUIN: What’s your guess?
ENZO CRUZ: You’re really hard to guess. Your face is way too dark on your profile pic.
LUCIA JOAQUIN: Is that so? Oh alright, one sec.
ENZO CRUZ: Alright.
LUCIA JOAQUIN: Alright, there you go. I uploaded a new pic. Go ahead and check it out.
ENZO CRUZ: Alright, I’ll go and take a look.
When I went to check out Lucia’s timeline, then I felt my hair rising once I saw the new photo she recently uploaded.
In the photo was her, smiling, while lying down right next to me.

Christmas monsters!!

We all know that this season is to be jolly and happy and seems to forget all our troubles but with every light side there is a dark side to remind us that the world need balances of all things so here are Christmas monsters to put a smile and a shiver on your holidays.
.

1. KRAMPUS

As a tool to encourage good behavior in children, Santa serves as the carrot, and Krampus is the stick. Krampus is the evil demon anti-Santa, or maybe his evil twin. Krampus Night is celebrated on December 5, the eve of St. Nicholas Day in Austria and other parts of Europe. Public celebrations that night have many Krampuses walking the streets, looking for people to beat. Alcohol is also involved. Injuries in recent years have led to some reforms, such as requiring all Krampuses to wear numbers so they may identified in case of overly violent behavior.
Krampus may look like a devil, or like a wild alpine beast, depending on what materials are available to make a Krampus costume. In modern times, people can spend as much as they like to become the best Krampus around—and the tradition is spreading beyond Europe. Many cities in America have their own Krampus Nights now.

2. JÓLAKÖTTURINN

this creature is the Icelandic Yule Cat or Christmas Cat. He is not a nice cat. In fact, he might eat you. This character is tied to an Icelandic tradition in which those who finished all their work on time received new clothes for Christmas, while those who were lazy did not (although this is mainly a threat). To encourage children to work hard, parents told the tale of the Yule Cat, saying that Jólakötturinn could tell who the lazy children were because they did not have at least one new item of clothing for Christmas—and these children would be sacrificed to the Yule Cat. This reminder tends to spur children into doing their chores! A poem written about the cat ends with a suggestion that children help out the needy, so they, too, can have the protection of new clothing. It's no wonder that Icelanders put in more overtime at work than most Europeans.

3. FRAU PERCHTA

Tales told in Germany and Austria sometimes feature a witch named Frau Perchta who hands out both rewards and punishments during the 12 days of Christmas (December 25 through Epiphany on January 6). She is best known for her gruesome punishment of the sinful: She will rip out your internal organs and replace them with garbage. The ugly image of Perchta may show up in Christmasprocessions in Austria, somewhat like Krampus.
Perchta's story is thought to have descended from a legendary Alpine goddess of nature, who tends the forest most of the year and deals with humans only during Christmas. In modern celebrations, Perchta or a close relation may show up in processions during Fastnacht, the Alpine festival just before Lent. There may be some connection between Frau Perchta and the Italian witch La Befana, but La Befana isn't really a monster: she's an ugly but good witch who leaves presents.

4.Grýla

Grýla, a giant ogress who is said to live in the mountains of Iceland, descends from her hideaway every Christmas to hunt down misbehaving children in the cities and towns and eat them. She's likely to be accompanied not only by her gargantuan feline companion, the Yule Cat -- who has a similar taste for the flesh of children, particularly those who weren't given new clothes for Christmas -- but also by her 13 sons, the mischievous Yule Lads.
Traditionally, Icelandic children place a shoe in their bedroom window each of the 13 nights before Christmas and check the next morning to see what each of the Yule Lads, consecutively has left in the shoe. If he or she was nice the previous day, the child receives a gift; if naughty, a rotten potato. Nobody wants to find a smelly potato in their shoe, but it's a better outcome than being eaten by an ogress, that's for sure.

This are some for me are the scariest of them all but i am sure there are more so happy holidays and enjoy it and always be nice or you might get a visit of scary friends HAHAHAHAHAHA.
